Judging someone does not define who they are. Judgements are formed based on what we think we know about a person or situation.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>When we make judgements, we set expectations around what we \u201cshould\u201d be or \u201cshould\u201d do. These expectations often pressure our lives and cause us to feel inadequate when we don\u2019t live up to them.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>We tend to judge ourselves harshly when we don&#8217;t meet our own expectations or those of others. Judging yourself for being imperfect creates dissatisfaction with who you are and limits your ability to experience joy and fulfillment in life.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>It is critical to start by dismantling self-judgments that create so much dissatisfaction. When self-judgments are eliminated, the natural result is self-acceptance followed by acceptance of others.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p><p>Acceptance allows us to let go of things that can\u2019t be controlled \u2013 judgements, expectations \u2013 which leads to a sense of freedom and peace within ourselves and others around us.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p><p>When we judge others, it often causes us to be judgmental, critical, impatient, and irritable, which limits our ability to enjoy life as much as possible!<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p><p>When we stop judging ourselves, we open our minds to new possibilities for learning from mistakes rather than beating ourselves up over them!<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><br><\/p><p>If we can let go of judgements about ourselves without feeling guilty or ashamed about who we are, then we will feel more acceptance for the things that we would typically judge.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is human nature to judge But, judging ourselves and others can form negative beliefs.
